Did you know…Cloche hat

I didn’t realize what this hat was called until I did some research on it. A Cloche is a woman’s hat worn from C.1915 until the mid -1930’s, achieving it’s greatest popularity during the 1920’s. The cloche is a tight-fitting, covering the head from the back of the neck and worn pulled down low over the forehead. It can be brimmed or brimless. In the 1920’s cloches were often decorated with grosgrain ribbon. Now a days you may see the cloche hat in films or on television. Examples of this have been included in the picture gallery below. I personally like this hat, I think it’s cute and stylish.
