Behind the Trend… The sailor Collar

The sailor collar is made of two thicknesses of a heavy fabric. This fabric would be sewn together and then cut into a square which falls down the back and narrows to a point in the front, where a bow is tied. It was a popular style for women in the 1920’s and 1930’s. Often referred to as a sailor suit.

Bio

I have a love of fashion and what outfit is complete without the perfect jewelry? I’ve always had a weakness for buying jewelry when I shopped and I’m happy to say that for the past few years I’ve been making my own….and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve always been a pretty crafty/artsy person, but I think I have finally found my true passion…JEWELRY!

For the past 5 years I have been very lucky and endlessly proud to be a stay-at-home Mommy of 3 precious little boys. I’m hoping I can make a successful career for myself as a jewelry designer and continue to be available for all of the special moments in my baby’s lives.

I’m interested in so many types and styles of jewelry and am constantly evolving as a designer. I’m inspired by fashion, music, tattoos, textiles….great jewelry ideas are everywhere. I’m a huge fan of bright, bold and rich color. I like to make special pieces that will stand out and command attention. I’m happy to offer many different styles at affordable prices.

Over the past few years I have been fortunate enough to make the jewelry for a few of my friend’s weddings and am happy to make custom pieces. Feel free to convo me if you have any questions or need something special:) I hope to add new piece weekly, if not daily, so keep checking for new stuff!

Thanks for checking out Blonde Chick Studio. I’m so excited to be a part of this extraordinary community of designers…handmade stuff ROCKS!
