MObama scheduled the National Design Awards for the Middle of fashion week

Michelle Obama scheduled the National Design Awards which usually takes place in the middle of July for September 13th of this year. The award cerermony is currently scheduled to happen right in the middle of fashion week. Several major designers will be unable to make it. WWD stated, “First Lady Michelle Obama sure knows her designer labels, but her handlers must of misplaced her fashion calendar.” NOT THIS TIME [WWD]
