WWD, has reached out to some of LA Designer residents to share there thoughts on what Kate Middleton would look great in when she visits LA.
Super stylist Rachel Zoe sees Kate in an all-white ensemble, saying ‘at first glance, this look appears to be a dress, but it is actually two pieces — a maxiskirt and white blouse tucked in…beyond! It’s glamorous, Boho and sexy without being too revealing. Perfect for a beach party in Malibu’. This look is very elegant, and super chic in California.
Kevan Hall – evening and bridal wear specialist, chooses his ‘off-the-shoulder jersey bodice gown with an origami silk satin-faced organza skirt with a crystal baguette-encrusted jewel belt in a gorgeous shade of raspberry. This look is perfect for royalty walking the red carpet.’
Juan Carlos Obando, an art and creative director turned designer says that William and Kate’s trip is ‘the perfect excuse to throw a pair of cotton trousers, a soft linen jacket and a classic yet evocative silk blouse. The look reflects the balance of old Santa Barbara Style mixed with a new Los Feliz/Silver Lake chic’. This is such a beautiful and put together look. I am a total fan of this.
Lubov Azria of BCBG Max Azria puts Kate in ‘an easy yet beautiful tiered dress for day, with her favorite V-neck and a refined tea length’.
Larry Leight, founder and creative director of Oliver Peoples says ‘with these shades, the couple will fit right in to the culture and enjoy the L.A. sun’.
Michele Manz creative director for Seven for All Mankind says ‘William and Catherine in Seven For All Mankind exude a natural, effortless off-duty California style with premium denim as the foundation’.

Less than a week away from the Noth American trip Kate Middleton and Prince William showed up to Wimbledon. They sat in the Royal Box at Centre Court to watch Brit Andy Murray take on Richards Gasquet.
Middleton wore a gorgeous white pleated, tiered dress that has been identified as a Temperly London’s Moriah Style which originally sold for $1,275 dollars and it’s on Sale right now for $653. She accessorized the look with nude pumps and a champagne clutch.Kate choose to wear Nude LK Bennett Sledge 2 Pumps, and accessorize it with a tan snakeskin clutch.
She also wore fairly new earrings that look like they were modeled after her engagement ring.
This information is unreal to me! Supposedly insiders are reporting that the lace-makers at the Royal School of Needlework and Alexander McQueen seamstresses were told their work was for a MOVIE! Their was no elaboration after that point.
The dress was constructed then inside Buckingham Palace by Sarah Burton and a small group of helpers who were signed to secrecy.
Who ever asked about the dress had to DENY it every single time. I find this super fascinating.
Can’t really believe they all ready have a dress made. Click on the link below to check out the story.
More details to come.
