How to follow Fashion Week

There are a couple of different ways that you can follow fashion week this year. My recommendations are the following below.

1. IPAD Users- Follow through Flipboard. Flipboard gives you a up to date view of all the live fashions that are happening at NYFW. They track posts on blogs, websites, twitter, and facebook. The best part is you get a combination of articles from Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Marie claire, Photo galleries and more.

2. Instagram- Instagram is a great way to see the behind the scenes look of fashion that is hitting the runways. Burberry, and many other labels all have their own Instagram pages where you can be updated with photos from the runway.

3. Live streaming- Live video feeds began popping up in Fall of 2012, but guess what there will be more live video feeds to Spring NYFW. Check out YouTube’s “Live From the Runway”,  and Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, live from Lincoln Center for all of your Live streaming feeds. They make it easier for you to be apart of the fashion experience!

( don’t forget twitter and facebook as well)

If you don’t have time to watch the live streams you can still see the shows on youtube.

Richard Chai is using a lot of mixed patterns in his women’s based looks on the runway. Im watching the live runway show on .

TREND SPOTTING: MOD inspired looks from the Richard Chai NEW York Spring 2012 Fashion week. Again I saw shirts for women that were cut off at the sleeve to expose the shoulder.

Richard Chai is using a lot of bright colors in his outfits with mixed patterns. There is a emphasis on color blocking and mixing patterns with bright colors.
